CHERYL W. GRIEBENOW Eight years ago I fell in love with the Texas Hill Country while reading the first installment of Robert Caro's biography of LBJ. The land, the settlers, and their determination to carve out a new life inspired me to trade in the New England winters for Texas sunshine. After relocating to Fredericksburg in 1999 and viewing more of the beautiful surroundings, I decided on a career in real estate.
My specialty is assisting ranch buyers in finding their special home place in the hills. I focus on understanding my client's investment and recreational goals. Through intimate topographic knowledge of several counties and contacts with independent land brokers, I find the best range of land choices available. However, the sale is only the beginning; the real work starts when the contract closes. Throughout the ranch development and management phases I continue to work on my clients' behalf.
I also perform a range of services that are especially suited to the out of town owner from land use planning, to preferred property tax valuations to turnkey ranch management. My goal isn't sales volume but cherished relationships with select clients who seek the recreational ranch lifestyle.
