DOUG GRAY

Born and raised in Austin, it took Doug twenty-five years to get to the Texas Hill Country. After graduating from Austin Westlake High School, Doug earned a bachelor degree in business from the University of Texas. Two graduate degrees in Education served him in his ten years as an educator/administrator at Fredericksburg's Heritage School.

As a Fredericksburg resident for twenty-six years, Doug has served on the Fredericksburg Community Education Council, the Cherry Mountain Community Club board, the board of Fredericksburg Bible Church, and as a volunteer with the Texas Youth Hunting Program. As a 2010 officer of the Gillespie County Board of Realtors, Doug served as Treasurer. Doug has volunteered in the Fredericksburg Academic Boosters mentoring program, as well as, coached many of his children's youth sports teams.

Doug enjoys nature related activities and time with his family, especially his two pre-school grandsons.
